Enterprise Europe Network services and success stories

Posted by Global technology interface on January 20, 2022

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to innovate and grow on an international scale. The Network is active in more than 60 countries worldwide with over 3000 experts and the Global Business Inroads (GBI) is the business cooperation center of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) in India. The network expert groups cover all key economic sectors, from healthcare to agrofood, from intelligent energy to fashion and textile. The EEN India- GBI can offer a targeted approach aimed specifically at your business sector.

The following are some of the services offered by GBI through the EEN:

. Advisory services for growth and expansion into international markets.

. Support corporates, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), startups, and R&D organizations in finding partners for     technology, business, and research collaborations with international counterparts.

. Identification of business or academic partners to manufacture, distribute, co-develop and supply your products, ideas,     and services.

This article/blog primarily focuses on a few success stories and the process followed in providing partnering services to SMEs through the EEN. As a network partner, GBI could help SMEs to find partners for one or more collaboration types, such as business cooperation, technology cooperation, and research collaborations. The goal of the partnership process is to reach transnational partnership agreements between SMEs or between SMEs and large companies, research institutes, or other possible cooperation partners.

Over the year, GBI has facilitated many partnership agreements between Indian and global companies. One of the Indian companies connected with a German startup during the brokerage event and they have started a common pilot project on the implementation of novel systems, approaches, and methods of predictive analytics and maintenance of specific industrial machines and machinery equipment. Another Indian company has agreed on cooperation in recruiting foreign students to study in the Ukrainian education institute.

The partnering process begins with the search for clients through promotions that are interested in cooperating internationally. After having identified a potential client, more information on the company’s experience, capacity, and motivation to undertake transnational partnerships is gathered. Once the client has agreed on the terms of services offered by EEN-India GBI, a contract is formalized and signed.

Based on the type of services requested by the client, there are 5 type of profiles that can be published on the EEN: Business offer, technology offer, Business request, technology request and Research & development requests. GBI will facilitate in publishing a profile in the Partnering Opportunities Database (POD) through EEN and to disseminate new and existing partnership profiles in an efficient and targeted way. Also, GBI will suggest to the clients about various opportunities for business meetings through Brokerage events (BE) and company missions (CM) organized or co-organized by us. Furthermore, GBI will help its clients in establishing first contact with potential partners, in the process of negotiation and ultimately to sign-up a long-term collaboration/partnership agreement. Overall, EEN India - GBI can support companies for facilitating access to innovation and technology in the European and global markets.
